Gurugram news: A woman was murdered in Gurugram, Haryana. The family of the deceased woman alleges that the uncle-in-law used to force her to have physical relations. When she opposed this, he killed the daughter. It is alleged that since the marriage, both the husband and the uncle-in-law used to harass her. The uncle-in-law also used to do obscene acts.
In the case of beating a 23-year-old woman and then strangling her to death with a dupatta in New Colony police station area, her parents have filed a case against her in-laws under various sections.
The parents allege that the father-in-law and husband used to harass the woman since marriage. The uncle-in-law used to pressure the woman to have physical relations. The police station has registered a case and started investigation.
After murder, informed the parents
The parents of the girl, resident of Gohna in Sonipat, in a complaint to the police station said that on Tuesday afternoon, their daughter’s father-in-law called and told them that he had killed their daughter. If the parents also protested, he would do the same to them.
After getting the information, the parents reached Gurugram. The parents told that the woman was married in 2017. During that time, the in-laws lived in Karala, Delhi. After the father-in-law retired from the government department, the family came to live in New Colony.
Father-in-law and husband used to harass
It is alleged that the father-in-law and husband used to harass the woman often. Many times a compromise was reached in the Panchayat regarding this. The woman’s husband is handicapped in both hands. Recently, the woman had also accused her uncle-in-law of forcing her to have physical relations.
Murder by strangulation with dupatta
It was told that he behaves indecently. A panchayat was also held regarding this. During this, the in-laws also apologized. It is alleged that the in-laws killed the woman on Tuesday because of this. The father-in-law gagged her mouth with polythene and then strangled her with a dupatta and killed her. The police station has arrested the father-in-law and the husband in the case.
