Gurugram news: “Small dispute”, man strangled to death, body thrown in canal

Gurugram news: A week ago, in a dispute over bathing in the Dhankot canal of Rajendra Park police station area, two youths strangled a person to death and fled after throwing the body in the canal itself. Initially the police were assuming the death of the person due to drowning in the canal. The postmortem report revealed strangulation and the police registered a case of murder.

Initially the police were assuming the death of the person due to drowning in the canal. When the postmortem report revealed strangulation, the police registered a case under sections of murder and arrested two accused on Monday night.

ACP West Shiv Archan Sharma said on Tuesday that on May 7, Dhankot police post had received information about the dead body of a person lying in the Dhankot canal. The police team took out the body from the canal.
