Sector 40 resident Shashank Yadav told the police that he received a phone call recently. The caller introduced himself as an employee of a courier company and said that the courier in his name contained illegal goods and drugs. After this he allegedly transferred his phone to Mumbai Crime Branch.

Cyber ​​thugs, posing as police officers, talked to them through video calls and took information related to their accounts, along with this, money was collected from them several times in the name of security. The accused said that their money would be returned, but after the money was transferred they switched off the phone.
