Gurugram: The enforcement team of the Municipal Corporation on Monday demolished the constructions in the illegal colony being developed by the name of Avenue-34 in Sector-34 area. The team of Assistant Engineer (Enforcement) Krishna Kumar and Junior Engineer Pradeep reached Sector-34 with a bulldozer and police force.
Here, an illegal colony named Avenue-34 was being developed on about three acres of land. The team took action to demolish about ten boundary walls and three under-construction buildings on the spot. Heavy police force was also deployed on the spot to deal with any protest situation.
Assistant Engineer Krishna Kumar himself was handling the responsibility of Duty Magistrate. According to Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Gurugram, illegal constructions, encroachment, illegal occupation of corporation land and illegal colonization will not be tolerated under any circumstances in the corporation area.
