Gurugram. For not giving possession to the flat buyer on time, Herera has ordered Ramprastha Company to pay interest of Rs 1.02 crore to the buyer. The flat buyer had signed an agreement with the company in 2013. This order has been given by Ashok Sangwan, member of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HARERA), Gurugram.
Agreement was signed with the company on 16 October 2013
Gaurav Rawat, advocate of Noida residents Kamlesh Sharma and Kulbhushan Sharma, said that they had signed an agreement with Ramprastha Company on October 16, 2013 for a flat in Primavera Project in Sector-37D. On this, an assurance was given by the company that they would be given the possession of the flat in April 2018.
From time to time he kept paying money to the company for the flat. He had given a total of Rs 1.02 crore to the company, but he did not get the possession.
After this he filed a petition in Harera. After listening to both the parties, Herrera has ordered that the flat buyer should be given interest at the rate of Rs 10.85.
