Rented Flat Tenants Rights : Tenants are afraid of heavy brokerage charges, if they know these rules, there will be no problem.

Noida-Delhi rented Flat tenants rights: For those taking a house on rent in Noida Delhi, rent is not as much of a headache as brokerage charges. Here, in the name of providing houses in apartments and societies, brokers charge 1 month’s rent as broker fee. In the second story of News18 Hindi’s Rentnama series, let us know how much brokerage fee should be paid? What does the law say? ,

Rented Flat Tenants Rights: ‘Pooja, who lives in her house in Dwarka, Delhi, found a two BHK flat to live in a high-rise society in Noida through a broker. Whose rent was Rs 20 thousand per month. While shifting here, he paid a total of Rs 40 thousand to the landlord as advance rent of Rs 20 thousand and Rs 20 thousand as security. Whereas Pooja had to pay one month’s rent i.e. 20 thousand rupees to the broker.

This was already fixed fee of the broker….. ‘The second case is of LIG-MIG flat society of Noida Authority, where Reema paid 15 days rent to the broker for changing her house after leaving two houses in the same society. This had to be done because even after searching for 4 months, he was not able to find a house in his society. Ultimately the matter was resolved only after paying the brokerage.

This situation is not only in Noida, but in the entire Delhi-NCR. If you have taken a house on rent here, you must have paid brokerage charges. Nowadays, in every residential or commercial area, you will easily see the shops of brokers and property brokers with property dealer written on them or you will see a contact number card hanging outside any public place, shop or house and if you dial that number then the landlord will contact you.

No, the broker will talk to you. They may just talk to you about rent but it should be clear in your mind that you will have to pay them 100% or somewhere 50% of the rent for one month. In cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, there is such a network of brokers that even if you want, you cannot keep the brokers aside and rent a house.
